Joyce Morrison, Executive Artistic Director of the Maryland Regional Ballet Company for the past 27 years, has had a long career in the field of dance.
She has studied at the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre School and the Joffrey School of Ballet. She has performed with several companies including a tour of England with the Harlequin Ballet. |

In addition to teaching at the Frederick School of Classical Ballet, Mrs. Morrison has taught at the the Peabody Prepatory and the Wally Saunders Dance Studio in Baltimore |
Mrs. Morrison studied choreography under Leonide Massine (the shoemaker in the film, "The Red Shoes"), on his private island of Galli, off the coast of Italy. She also studied choreography under Andrew Howard, choreographer for the Royal Ballet in London, England. |
She has owned the Frederick School of Classical Ballet for the past 32 years and continues to provide classes of professional quality to local students. |
